The Principality of Kaharagia is deeply saddened by the deaths and destruction caused by the floods and landslides along the border between Nepal and China.

The disaster came with frightening speed. Villages have been torn apart, roads and bridges lost, and families left waiting for word of those missing. We send our sincere condolences to all who have lost loved ones, and we stand with the people of Nepal and China as the search and relief work continues.

Rescue workers, medical teams, volunteers and local residents are working in dangerous conditions to reach survivors and bring help to isolated communities. Their courage deserves the respect and gratitude of us all.

Our thoughts remain with those who are grieving, injured or displaced, and with everyone still waiting for a loved one to come home.
