Decisions

Resolution of particular matters by the Sovereign, the administration, or the courts

Decisions record the resolution of particular matters by the Sovereign, the administration, or the courts of Kaharagia.

Unlike Sovereign Decrees and General Regulations, which establish rules of wider application, a Decision normally concerns a specific person, organisation, application, status, proceeding, or question.

Decisions are published in three principal categories.

Sovereign Decisions

Decisions made personally by the Sovereign on matters of State.

Administrative Decisions

Decisions applying law and established procedure to particular administrative matters.

Judicial Decisions

Judgments, judicial orders, and advisory opinions issued by the courts of Kaharagia.

Classification of Decisions

Each Decision should be published with:

  • its official title;
  • its instrument number;
  • the date on which it was made;
  • its effective date;
  • the type of Decision;
  • the deciding or issuing authority;
  • the recommending authority, where applicable;
  • the authority responsible for its administration;
  • the legal authority under which it was made;
  • its current status;
  • any related Decree, Regulation, or earlier Decision; and
  • any available procedure for review or reconsideration.

A Decision may be marked as:

  • Current
  • Amended
  • Suspended
  • Revoked
  • Expired
  • Superseded
