Article I — Establishment of the Arms
1. The armorial bearings hereinafter blazoned and described are hereby established as the Coat of Arms of Kaharagia, being the personal Arms of the Sovereign.
2. The authority of these Arms derives from the person of the Prince and extends to the Principality as a whole in accordance with this Decree.
3. The Arms shall stand as the supreme heraldic emblem of the Principality, subject only to the Sovereign’s prerogative.
Article II — Heraldic Blazon and Description
1. The Arms of Kaharagia are blazoned as follows:
(a) Arms: Gules, a griffin passant Or, armed Or, holding in the dexter claw a scimitar Argent hilted Or; the field semé of mullets of six points Or.
(b) Crown: Upon the shield, the Royal Crown of the Prince of the Kaharagians, proper.
(c) Supporters: Two wild men proper, wreathed about the head and loins with leaves Vert, each holding a club proper and also grasping the pole of a banner charged with the Arms of Kaharagia.
(d) Banners: Banners Gules, each of Schwenkel form, the tapering tail reflexed and passing behind the staff, terminating in tassels Or, charged with the Arms on the shield below, and borne upon staffs Or headed with spearheads Or, held by the supporters.
(e) Compartment: A platform Or.
(f) Mantle: A mantle Gules doubled Ermine, flowing from the Royal Crown, gathered and tied into ornamental bunches with cords and tassels Or.
(g) Orders and Insignia: The collar and badge of the Most Illustrious Order of Saint Michael the Archangel, displayed pendent beneath the shield.
(h) Motto: A scroll Gules edged Or, bearing the words “PRO DEO ET PATRIA” in letters Or.
2. The blazon and description set forth in this Article shall constitute the sole authoritative heraldic definition of the Arms of Kaharagia. All representations shall conform thereto.
Article III — Lawful Forms of the Arms
1. The following lawful forms of the Arms are hereby established:
(a) The Full Achievement, consisting of the shield, Royal Crown, supporters, banners, compartment, mantle, orders, insignia, motto, and all appurtenances.
(b) The Middle Achievement, consisting of the shield, Royal Crown, supporters, compartment, and the Order of Saint Michael the Archangel, but excluding the mantle and banners.
(c) The State Achievement, consisting solely of the shield surmounted by the Royal Crown, without supporters, orders, collars, banners, mantling, or personal insignia.
2. No other form, variation, abridgement, or composite use of the Arms shall be deemed lawful unless expressly authorised by the Sovereign.
Article IV — Allocation and Lawful Use
1. The Full Achievement is reserved exclusively to the Sovereign and may be used only with His express consent.
2. The Middle Achievement is reserved for official use by the Royal Court and institutions directly attached to the person and household of the Sovereign.
3. The State Achievement is authorised for use by the Government, ministries, agencies, courts, and officials acting in the name of the Crown and the Principality.
Article V — Protection and Misuse
1. The Arms of Kaharagia are protected sovereign symbols.
2. Any unauthorised use, distortion, alteration, assumption, imitation, or misleading display of the Arms, in any form, shall constitute misuse of sovereign insignia.
3. The Sovereign retains sole authority to grant licences, permissions, exemptions, or special warrants concerning the use of the Arms.
Article VI — Arms of the Royal Family
1. No member of the Royal Family may assume armorial bearings by right of birth alone.
2. The arms of other members of the Royal Family shall be established solely by Royal Decree, which shall specify blazon, authorised form or forms, precedence, and lawful use.
Article VII — Enactment and Publication
1. This Decree shall take effect immediately upon Our Signature.
2. It shall be entered into the Royal Kaharagian Gazette and published accordingly.
