Article I — Reclassification of Grades
1. The Fourth and Fifth Grades of the Order are hereby merged and reclassified as a single grade, styled Knight (for gentlemen) and Dame (for ladies).
2. Following this merger, the Order shall consist of four grades, ranked from First (highest) to Fourth (Knight/Dame).
Article II — Insignia of the Fourth Grade
1. The insignia of the Fourth Grade (Knight/Dame) shall be the badge of the Order in gold, enamelled, of 37 mm diameter, its design conforming to that of Grades I–III in all essential particulars, proportionately reduced.
2. The insignia shall be worn from a ribbon of Kaharagian yellow/gold in the shade prescribed by the Chancellery of the Kaharagian Honours.
Article III — Transitional Provisions
1. All persons presently holding the classes Knight First Class / Dame First Class and Knight Second Class / Dame Second Class are henceforth deemed members of the Fourth Grade (Knight/Dame) of the Order.
2. Reclassified members may obtain the new insignia upon application to the Chancellery of the Kaharagian Honours; no new certificate shall be required.
Article IV — Ribbon Distinctions by Grade
1. Fourth Grade (Knight/Dame): plain Kaharagian yellow/gold ribbon.
2. Third Grade: ribbon with rosette.
3. Second Grade: ribbon with rosette, having a silver braid behind the rosette.
4. First Grade: ribbon with rosette, having a gold braid behind the rosette.
Article V — Entry into Force
1. This Decree shall enter into force immediately upon Our signature.
2. It shall be entered into the Royal Kaharagian Gazette and published accordingly.
