Sovereign Decree on the Prohibition of Harmful Conversion Practices (so-called “Conversion Therapy”)

Prohibits conversion therapy and all coercive or harmful practices intended to alter a person’s sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. Establishes penalties for violation, affirms the dignity and autonomy of the person, and directs public awareness and enforcement measures through the Ministry of Health.
