Sovereign Decree instituting the Princely House Order of the Eagle as a dynastic distinction of the House of Lichtenberg, separate from the state orders, to recognise eminent service, fidelity, and benefaction to the Sovereign and the Royal House. The Sovereign is constituted Sovereign, with the Chancery of Honours charged to administer admissions, maintain the roll, and issue insignia in accordance with statutes to be promulgated (grades, badges, style, and precedence). The honour confers no nobiliary dignity but carries the customary courtesies and precedence of the Order, to be bestowed at investiture by or in the name of the Sovereign, with immediate effect.
