Sovereign’s Message of Condolence to His Majesty The King of Norway on the Death of King Harald V

Message expressing condolences to His Majesty King Haakon VIII on the death of his father, King Harald V. On behalf of all Kaharagians, the Sovereign pays tribute to King Harald’s thirty-five years of service and conveys sympathy to the Royal Family and the people of Norway.

Your Majesty,

I was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Your Majesty’s father, His Majesty King Harald V.

For more than thirty-five years, King Harald served Norway with steadiness, warmth and an evident devotion to its people. He understood the Crown as a duty carried alongside the nation, and his long reign will be remembered with affection far beyond the Kingdom.

On behalf of all Kaharagians, I offer my heartfelt condolences to Your Majesty, Her Majesty Queen Mette-Marit, Her Majesty Queen Sonja and the whole Royal Family, and to the people of Norway. I hope the affection and gratitude now being shown across the country may bring some comfort in the days ahead.

As Your Majesty takes up the duties of the Crown, please also accept my sincere good wishes and the assurance of Kaharagia’s friendship.
