On the occasion of Throne Day, marking the anniversary of Your Majesty’s accession, I have the honour to extend my warmest greetings and sincere congratulations.

Morocco stands where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean and where Europe and Africa are closest, and has drawn from that position a character entirely its own. I take the opportunity to convey my respect for the Kingdom’s long history and for the Alaouite dynasty’s place within it, and to wish Your Majesty good health and the Moroccan people prosperity in the year ahead.
