Your Majesty,
On the occasion of Your Majesty’s birthday, observed throughout the Kingdom as a day of national celebration, I have the honour to extend my warmest greetings and sincere good wishes.
Thailand has preserved its independence and its monarchy through centuries in which much of the region was governed from elsewhere, and the Crown remains at the centre of the Kingdom’s life. I should like to record my respect for that continuity, and to wish Your Majesty good health and long years, and the Thai people peace and prosperity.
