Message extending birthday greetings to His Majesty The King of Tonga, with warm wishes for good health and continued fulfilment in his high office.

Your Majesty,

On the occasion of Your Majesty’s birthday, I have the honour to convey to you my warmest greetings and sincere good wishes.

I should like to record my respect for Your Majesty’s service to the Kingdom of Tonga, and for the care with which the Crown has guided a people whose islands have met more than their share of storm and upheaval in recent years. It is my hope that the year ahead may bring Your Majesty good health, happiness, and continued fulfilment in the duties of your high office.
