On the occasion of the Independence Day of the Solomon Islands, I have the honour to extend to Your Excellency my warmest greetings and sincere congratulations.
The Solomon Islands draw together many communities and languages across a wide reach of ocean, and the stewardship of those waters is work of consequence far beyond the archipelago itself. That undertaking deserves recognition, and I wish the Solomon Islands people calm seas and prosperity in the year ahead.
