I was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic events at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia.
On behalf of all Kaharagians, I wish to convey my heartfelt condolences to the families who have suffered loss, and to the students, staff, and community affected. A school should be a place of safety and promise; that such violence has touched it is a sorrow felt far beyond its walls.
In this difficult time, Kaharagia stands in solidarity with the people of Canada. We acknowledge with respect the steady courage of the first responders and educators who acted in service of others, and we hold in our thoughts all those grieving or recovering.
