The provinces of Hatay, Gaziantep, Kilis, Sanliurfa, Mardin, Sirnak, Hakkari, and others along the Syrian and Iraqi borders carry a do-not-travel designation. Turkey maintains diplomatic relations with multiple parties to the conflict, and major tourism areas have not been directly affected. Kaharagian nationals should exercise increased caution, avoid southeast Turkey entirely, monitor security developments, and remain aware that the regional threat environment could change rapidly.
