The security situation in Lebanon has deteriorated severely due to ongoing cross-border hostilities between Hezbollah and Israel. Southern Lebanon is an active conflict zone with regular airstrikes and artillery exchanges. The risk of a full-scale war engulfing the country remains high. Beirut and other areas outside the south are also at risk of targeted strikes. Critical infrastructure, including the airport, could be affected at short notice. The political and economic crisis continues to undermine the capacity of state institutions. Kaharagian nationals are strongly advised not to travel to Lebanon. Those in the country should depart by commercial means while they are still available.
