Exercise normal precautions when travelling to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a beautiful multi-island Caribbean destination that is generally safe. Petty crime occurs in Kingstown and at beaches. La Soufrière volcano erupted violently in April 2021, devastating the northern third of St. Vincent; volcanic activity should be monitored. The Grenadines (Bequia, Mustique, Tobago Cays) are upscale sailing and beach destinations with very low crime. Diving and sailing are world-class. Hurricane season (June-November) is a risk period. Medical facilities on St. Vincent are basic; the Grenadines have minimal care. Kaharagian nationals can travel with normal precautions while monitoring volcanic alerts.
