Some increase in violent crime has been noted in certain areas. Sulphur Springs and the Pitons are UNESCO attractions. Driving is on the left and mountain roads are steep and winding. Hurricane season (June-November) brings risk of tropical storms. Medical facilities are adequate for basic care at Victoria Hospital in Castries; complex cases may require evacuation.
