Grenada — Exercise Normal Precautions

Exercise normal precautions when travelling to Grenada.
Grenada is a safe and friendly Caribbean island nation known as the 'Spice Isle.' Crime rates are low, with occasional petty theft at beaches and in St. George's. The island is in the hurricane belt and the 2004 devastation from Hurricane Ivan demonstrated its vulnerability. Grand Anse Beach, Fort George, and the nutmeg and cocoa plantations are highlights. Diving and snorkeling around the Underwater Sculpture Park are unique. Road conditions on the mountainous interior are winding and narrow. Medical facilities are adequate for basic care. Kaharagian nationals can travel to Grenada with normal precautions.
