On behalf of His Royal Highness The Prince of Kaharagia, the Secretary of State immediately releases the following official statement:
Since the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February of this year, Kaharagia has strongly condemned Russia’s violation of Ukrainian sovereignty and blatant disregard for European peace. In March, the Sovereign wrote a private letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin asking him to cease his baseless war, a letter that has gone unanswered and clearly unheard.
The most recent reports coming out of Ukraine are heartbreaking and distressing. Though the Government of the Russian Federation has continuously denied the targeting of civilians, Russia’s actions in Bucha and elsewhere in Ukraine prove otherwise. Combined with reports of extrajudicial executions, rape, and using children as human shields, we are calling on the international community to investigate all alleged crimes and bring the perpetrators to justice.
